COOL FRESH BEAUTY DIGS: BATH, TEETH, HOME AND HAIR
We’ve gotta take good care of that pretty face of yours, so here’s a bunch of inspo to keep you smiling and shining and glowing and stunning!!
Without a trace a doubt – the best natural (organic, essential oils, fair trade, etc, etc.) soap I’ve tried is this one from Dr. Bronner’s. The packaging is iconic, the formula gentle, and the foam so delicious! I first got the peppermint one (couldn’t find the eucalyptus one I wanted), but turns out this peppermint one is a tad too strong and refreshing for willy willy, so I decided to also get a second, more gentle (and sweet) almond bottle (smells just like Marzipan). It’s an experience.
Finally a fluoride-free toothpaste that actually cleans thoroughly, thanks to the coconut oil and essential oils (that give it a fresh, funky flavour, too!). I love the name, the look of the packaging, the way the cap opens up, and that you only need a super tiny amount with every use. Will stock up before leaving Mexico, cause I don’t know any great toothpaste in Europe, yet.
I also do oil-pulling after every meal (as long as it’s possible) – hence this cold-pressed virgin coconut oil. The deodorant (desodorante) you see in the picture; I got at a random market in Veracruz earlier this year, and it’s been truly revolutionary. Smells amazing, applies easily, holds great throughout the day 🙂
Okay, so probably cause of the stereotype (gay, fashionable, etc.) people always assume I spend a lot of time doing my hair. NOT TRUE. It honestly takes 10 seconds – because all I ever do is put a small amount of one of these two products below in my hand, rub it well, then pass my hands through my hair, in a backwards motion. Davines (liquid) or Kevin Murphy (solid pomade) + apply = listísimo 😉
What I use to scent up my room is this lemony scent, which is supposed to keep mosquitos away thanks to the essential oils in it (spoiler alert – it doesn’t!!). I light it up in the night, before going to bed, as I say my affirmations in front of the mirror 😉
